Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, one of the leaders of the Belarusian opposition, participated in an international event held in Yerevan.

Modern.az reports that Armenian media outlets have disseminated information about this.

According to the information, journalists spotted Tikhanovskaya near the "Dvin" hotel, where the "Yerevan Dialogue 2026" international conference, attended by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron, was being held.

It is reported that the Belarusian opposition representative, who lives in Lithuania, will participate as a "special guest" in a meeting of Armenia's pro-Western "For the Republic" party. This political force is led by Arman Babajanyan, a member of the Armenian parliament.

It should be recalled that Tikhanovskaya had refused to attend the plenary session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly held in Armenia in 2025. The reason given was that her security expenses were not covered by Lithuania.

It should be noted that Nikol Pashinyan, Emmanuel Macron, Secretary General of the Council of Europe Alain Berset, as well as politicians and experts from various countries are participating in the "Yerevan Dialogue 2026" forum.
