18 people died and more than 100 were injured as a result of US strikes on Iranian positions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports with reference to IRIB that this was stated by Iran's Minister of Health Mohammadreza Zafargandi.
"18 people died and 108 of our compatriots were injured in the attacks on various provinces of the country last night," he said.
It should be recalled that on September 1, the US Armed Forces carried out an air attack on Iranian facilities in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, in turn, launched retaliatory strikes on US bases in the Middle East.
