Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has offered Vladimir Putin to end the conflict.
Modern.az reports that Zelensky published the letter on his website.
“Ukraine offers to end the war in the format between you and us,” the letter said.
Zelensky stated that he is ready for an exchange of prisoners on the principle of “all for all” and supports the search for long-term security guarantees with the participation of international partners.
He proposed holding a personal meeting in a neutral country to discuss ways to end the war and called for a complete ceasefire during the negotiations.
Zelensky believes that the US should participate in the process and emphasized that this could play a decisive role in the formation of a new security architecture.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that if there is a desire in Kyiv, Russia will find those who will sign a peace agreement in Ukraine. He also recalled that Zelensky's presidential term ended exactly two years ago, and according to Russia's position, documents can only be signed with legitimate representatives.
