After adopting a law on the start of the country's integration process into the European Union, the Armenian leadership has practically brought up the issue of choice itself and must now explain the possible alternatives to its citizens.
Modern.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated this.
According to Lavrov, Armenia is currently facing a "either one or the other" logic between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the European Union (EU).
He recalled that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had previously spoken about the importance of presenting an alternative to the people and stated that the final decision should be made by Armenian citizens.
"If such a law has been adopted, it means that you have already sharply raised the issue yourself. Then let's answer the words we said and address the people," Lavrov said.
