A high-ranking commander of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and another officer were wounded during clashes with Hezbollah, while another officer was injured as a result of a drone strike.

According to the information, the condition of one of those wounded in the shooting is serious. The seriously wounded officer was immediately taken to the hospital by helicopter, while the lieutenant colonel, who is a unit commander, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital a few hours later.
The Israeli army stated that the soldiers encountered resistance from Hezbollah fighters while conducting search operations in the area.
At the same time, in a separate incident, an Israeli army officer was seriously wounded in southern Lebanon as a result of an attack by an explosive drone, presumably belonging to Hezbollah.
