Meta has officially launched the paid "Instagram Plus" subscription for the Instagram platform globally.
Modern.az reports that the new service offers users the opportunity to reach a wider audience with their content and gain more control over their posts. The main advantages of Instagram Plus are evident in its story-related features. The "Story Spotlight" feature increases the user's visibility by bringing their profile to the forefront of their friends' feeds faster. "Story Extend" ensures that stories, which normally appear for 24 hours, remain active for 48 hours.
Subscribers will also be able to create different audience lists and choose which follower group each story will be shown to. Additionally, users will be able to see how many times their stories have been re-watched before sharing them and will have the ability to search among the people who viewed the story. Meta has also expanded post management within the new subscription. Users can now publish certain posts directly to their profile or "Highlights" section without showing them in the main feed.
"Instagram Plus" also offers additional customization options. Subscribers will be able to choose different app icons, change the fonts used in the bio section, pin six elements to the top of their profile, and send animated "Super Heart" reactions to their friends' stories.
