On June 5, in the Taganrog Bay of the Azov Sea, the cargo ships "Natra" and "Circon", with a total of 25 Azerbaijani citizens on board, were attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Modern.az has identified four of the Azerbaijani sailors who lost their lives during the incident.
According to the information, Fuad Orujov, captain of the attacked "Circon" ship, and Gismat Aliyev, chief mechanic, died.
On the "Natra" ship, Captain Rajab Ahadov and the captain's second assistant, Mahammad Aliyev, passed away.
It should be noted that the condition of 3 Azerbaijani citizens injured during the incident is normal, and they are currently receiving treatment in the surgery and traumatology departments of the Yeysk City Central Hospital in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.
