The case of Zeynab Javadli, former Azerbaijani gymnast and ex-wife of Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, nephew of the Emir of Dubai, has been taken under control.
This was stated by the Consulate General in response to Modern.az's inquiry.
According to the information, the diplomatic mission is aware of the news spread in the mass media about Zeynab Javadli:
"In order to investigate the issue and clarify the mentioned information, relevant work is being carried out with the relevant institutions in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, including law enforcement agencies. The Consulate General is taking necessary measures in accordance with its consular mandate."
