Approximately 96% of votes have been counted in the Armenian parliamentary elections and the results have been announced.
Modern.az reports with reference to the Central Election Commission of Armenia that according to the results of counting 1 million 394 thousand 682 ballots in 1 924 polling stations, the votes collected by political forces are as follows:
- "Civil Contract" Party — 50.04% (689 675 votes)
- "Strong Armenia" Bloc — 23.33% (321 597 votes)
- "Armenia" Bloc — 9.85% (135 808 votes)
- "Prosperous Armenia" Party — 3.98% (54 900 votes)
- "Wings of Unity" Party — 2.28% (31 465 votes)
- "Democracy, Law and Discipline" Party — 1.81% (24 981 votes)
- Armenian Meritocracy Party — 2.07% (28 590 votes)
- "Against All" Party — 1.46% (20 064 votes)
- "New Force" Party — 1.72% (23 696 votes)
Each of the other political forces collected less than 1 percent of the votes.
According to the CEC, 1 million 476 thousand 597 voters participated in the elections, which is equal to 58.97 percent of citizens with the right to vote.
