US President Donald Trump will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky next week.
Modern.az reports that journalist Alex Raufoglu spread this information, citing diplomatic sources.
According to the information, the meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 28, in Washington.
According to the journalist, this meeting is considered an important event in terms of diplomatic contacts between the US and Ukraine. He recalled that Trump and Zelensky had previously met in France and Turkey.
Earlier, Raufoglu asked US Secretary of State Marco Rubio about the possibility of a new meeting between Trump and Zelensky. Rubio replied that the US side had repeatedly negotiated with Ukrainian representatives and was ready to meet again if such an opportunity arose.
Ukraine's "Suspilne" publication previously wrote that Zelensky was considering the possibility of a visit to the US in July. According to the information, the visit program may include participation in the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham and a bilateral meeting with Donald Trump within the framework of negotiations on the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
