Details of the final document that Iran and the US are preparing to sign have been revealed.

Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that, according to the information, the agreement envisages a number of important articles. According to the document, Iran must immediately open the Strait of Hormuz for the passage of ships and not demand a transit fee. In return, the blockade imposed by the US is planned to be lifted.

According to the terms of the agreement, shipping in the Strait of Hormuz must be returned to pre-war levels within 30 days. After the opening of the strait, temporary sanction exceptions allowing Iran to sell oil for a period of 60 days are planned to be applied.

It is reported that if Iran complies with the initial agreement, the easing of sanctions can be further expanded.

The document also includes the extension of the ceasefire regime for 60 days, including the issue of reducing tension in the direction of Lebanon. In addition, a new stage of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program is planned to begin.

According to the agreement, Iran must confirm its refusal to create nuclear weapons and agree to discuss issues related to the fate of enriched uranium under international control.

The agreement is reported to have been reached through the mediation of Qatar and Pakistan. The signing of the document may take place in Geneva in the coming days.

At the same time, the fate of Iranian assets frozen abroad and measured in billions of dollars remains one of the main topics of discussion. It is noted that negotiations on the mechanism of access to these funds are ongoing
