The Secretariat of Iran's Supreme National Security Council has confirmed the completion of the draft memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the Council's statement.
"According to the approval of the Supreme National Security Council, the text of the memorandum of understanding on the cessation of war negotiations (Islamabad talks) between Iran and the US was finally completed on the evening of June 15," the statement said.
The statement notes that "the war is immediately and permanently stopped on all fronts, including military operations in Lebanon."
"In addition, the naval blockade against Iran is immediately and completely lifted," the statement emphasized.
Iran's Supreme National Security Council also confirmed that the memorandum will be officially signed on June 19.
According to the information, negotiations on the conclusion of the final agreement will be postponed until the US fulfills its obligations under the memorandum.
In the statement, Iran also thanked the states of Pakistan and Qatar for their mediation efforts.
