The Naval Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced that the Strait of Hormuz is under control and ships move only in an agreed manner.
Modern.az reports that Ali Ozmai X, commander of the IRGC Naval Forces, wrote on social media that the passage of all ships, including oil tankers, through the strait is possible only after coordination with the IRGC Naval Forces.
At the same time, according to the "MarineTraffic" platform, ship traffic continues in the straits. It is assumed that the passages are carried out in agreement with the Iranian side.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 53 ships passed through the Straits of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab. 12 of them used the Strait of Hormuz, which is approximately 50 percent more than the previous day.
