According to Modern.az, these words were said by Armenian wrestler Janes Nazaryan, who won a gold medal in the 71 kg weight category at the World Championship held in Baku, in a statement to journalists.
He stated that they were welcomed at a high level in Baku:
"Our spirits were high. The competition was held at a very high level, there were strong participants. I think this competition will motivate us even more. For this, I thank the organizers and everyone involved. My opponents were very strong. I wouldn't say they were weak, on the contrary, they were very well prepared. But I fought better and achieved a good result."
He stated that there was a high-level welcome in Baku, both by the organizers and at the state level:
"Everything was in order. They welcomed us very well."
