Ukraine lost an F-16 fighter jet while performing a combat mission.
Modern.az reports with reference to Ukrainian media that the pilot managed to eject.
"On July 29, the aircraft was performing a combat mission to intercept enemy air targets in one of the front directions. An emergency situation occurred on board, which is why the pilot was forced to eject. He was successfully evacuated and delivered to a medical facility for examination," the report says.
It is noted that there are no casualties or destruction among the civilian population. Experts and law enforcement officers are working at the crash site, and the causes of the incident are being determined.
