There is no real estate registered in the name of Azerbaijani citizens in Armenia. In 2025, Turkish citizens carried out only 4 real estate transactions in the republic.
Modern.az reports that “Sputnik Armenia” agency disseminated this information citing the Cadastre Committee of Armenia.
According to the committee, last year Turkish citizens bought an apartment in the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan, and also sold two apartments and a plot of land in the village of Jrvej, Kotayk province.
“There is no property registered by citizens of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Armenia,” the Cadastre Committee stated.
It was also noted that in January–April 2026, Turkish citizens did not carry out any real estate transactions in Armenia.
In total, 4,413 real estate transactions with the participation of foreign citizens were registered in 2025. Foreigners bought 2,014 properties and sold 2,524 properties.
Among foreign buyers, the most demanded types of property were apartments, land plots, and garages. Most of the transactions were carried out in Yerevan. Kotayk and Lori regions were also among the active regions.
Russian citizens take the first place among foreigners buying real estate in Armenia. They are followed by citizens of the USA and Iran. Among those who bought property are also citizens of Syria, European countries, and other CIS states.
In the first quarter of 2026, foreign citizens bought 525 properties and sold 572 properties. Apartments, land plots, residential houses, and garages accounted for the majority of transactions.
According to the Cadastre Committee, in 2023, Turkish citizens bought 3 apartments in Armenia, all of which were located in Yerevan. In 2023, Azerbaijani citizens did not buy property. In 2022, they acquired two real estate properties in Yerevan and Lori region.
