Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Norwegian Princess Mette-Marit, has been sentenced to 4 years in prison on charges of sexual assault.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the decision of the Oslo Court.
The court found Marius Borg Høiby guilty of two rapes that occurred in 2018 and 2024. He was acquitted of two other similar charges.
According to the investigation materials, all charges related to rape involve women who were asleep or unable to defend themselves at the time of the incident.
Although the prosecution demanded that Høiby be imprisoned for 7 years and 7 months, the court sentenced him to 4 years in prison.
Marius Borg Høiby denied all charges against him throughout the trial.
