Technical-level talks between Iran and the US will resume next Tuesday after a temporary break.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesman Tahir Andrabi noted in his weekly press briefing that Pakistan and Qatar will continue their meetings with technical delegations from the US and Iran in the coming weeks to ensure the effective implementation of the peace agreement.
According to Andrabi, the peace memorandum signed in Switzerland and the first phase of US-Iran talks further strengthened the belief that dialogue and diplomacy are the most effective means of resolving disagreements and conflicts.
The ministry official stated that Pakistan welcomed the positive evaluations and encouraging statements from various countries and international partners for the constructive role it played in promoting regional peace, supporting dialogue, and reducing tensions.
Andrabi also expressed his gratitude to all countries and partners who supported Pakistan's mediation efforts.
