US President Donald Trump said that his country's military operation against Iran may end soon.
Modern.az reports that Trump spoke about this while answering journalists' questions at the White House.
The US leader said he expects oil prices to fall after the war ends.
"I think this war will end pretty quickly. I don't think they can last long," Trump said, referring to Iran.
He also emphasized his participation in the negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
"I am involved in the negotiations. I think the process is going well. An agreement can be reached soon," the US President added.
