Turkey has called on Russia and Ukraine to refrain from military confrontation in the Black Sea and Caspian Sea.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement issued after the meeting of the Turkish National Security Council.
Meeting participants also noted that the renewed increase in tensions between Iran and the United States poses serious risks for regional countries and global trade routes.
The statement called on all parties to refrain from using force and to return to the negotiating table to ensure lasting peace.
