It was noted that the dry cargo ship “Emil” belonging to the Hamburg-based “Johann M. K. Blumenthal” shipping company, sailing under the Liberian flag, was attacked by several Russian drones when it was approximately 21 nautical miles (39 kilometers) from the port of Odessa.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the ship, a number of technical systems failed, and the ship lost its ability to maneuver. It is reported that another blow was delivered while the crew was being evacuated.
