According to the agency, this agreement demonstrates that the US army is looking for more cost-effective and reliable ways to destroy small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
It should be noted that some time ago, Travis Metz, manager of the Pentagon's unmanned systems program, emphasized that the US is still at a very early and difficult stage in building its local drone industry.
