Extreme heat in Europe has caused the deaths of more than 25,000 people.
Modern.az reports that "Bloomberg" agency has released information about this.
The biggest losses were recorded in Germany.
According to the Robert Koch Institute, 11,900 people have died since April. The institute also claims that more than 9,000 deaths have occurred since the end of June.
This summer, Europe experienced four extreme heatwaves. A new wave could begin early next week.
