A military helicopter carrying Israeli President Isaac Herzog made an emergency landing after an incident during flight.

According to the information, the helicopter collided with a flock of birds while in the air. After this, the crew decided to make an emergency landing at Palmachim airbase for safety reasons.
It was stated that President Isaac Herzog had participated in a memorial ceremony held on Mount Herzl before the incident and was then heading to the north of the country.
According to the statement from the Israel Defense Forces, no one on the helicopter was injured as a result of the incident, and no damage was recorded.
