Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqayi evaluated the "Mecca Agreement" between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey and stated that regional security cannot be entrusted to external actors.
Modern.az reports that Baqayi commented on current issues at a press conference.

Evaluating the agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, Baqayi said that this development is an indicator of a change in the security perception of the region's countries.
According to him, considering the events of the last two or three years, the countries of the region have understood that security is not "a commodity that can be bought from fake security intermediaries."
