Truth Social, the social media platform founded by US President Donald Trump, has considered offering users early access to his posts.
Modern.az reports that Financial Times published information about this.
According to the information, the platform discussed requiring a monthly payment of up to 100 thousand dollars to allow investors and traders to see Trump's posts earlier than other users.
According to the publication, the company brought up this idea during negotiations with potential customers. Supporters of the project believe that since Trump's statements and social media posts have a serious impact on financial markets, gaining access to them a few minutes or seconds earlier could create a great advantage for investors.
It is reported that traders, especially those conducting high-frequency stock transactions, can benefit from such a service. This is because Trump's posts on the economy, trade policy, tariffs, and international relations often cause sharp changes in the prices of stocks, currencies, and other assets.
So far, the official launch of such a service by Truth Social has not been confirmed.
