US Armed Forces today began massive strikes on Iranian facilities in the Strait of Hormuz.

Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement by the US Armed Forces Central Command (CENTCOM) on the social network "X".

"Today at 12:00 PM ET, US Armed Forces began striking facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) in Iran. The strikes followed recent attempted attacks by SEPAH against commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and American military personnel deployed in the region," the statement said.
