The new Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Mykhailo Drapatyi, made a harsh statement about Russia and Russians.
Modern.az reports that he spoke about this to local media.
“It is no longer possible to even call our opponent (Russia) a neighbor. This (Russians) is a nation that, along with its leadership, has no right to exist. For millennia, no civilized change has occurred there, neither in terms of mindset nor imperial ambitions,” Drapatyi emphasized.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reacted harshly to the Ukrainian army commander's statement:
“Drapatyi's insulting statement against the Russian people demonstrates the neo-Nazi face of the Kyiv regime. Therefore, they have one name - neo-Nazis.”
