The final match of the FIFA World Cup between the national teams of Spain and Argentina may be postponed due to forest fires in Canada.
Modern.az reports with reference to “Ole.us” that due to the fires, smoke has covered a number of cities in Canada and even spread to the northern states of the USA. In this regard, outdoor events planned in Chicago, as well as the expected MLS match “Chicago Fire” – “Vancouver Whitecaps” have been canceled.
According to the information, if the air quality reaches a dangerous level for human health, FIFA may change the tournament calendar.
The final match is scheduled to be held on July 19 at MetLife stadium in East Rutherford, USA. The starting whistle of the match is reported to sound at 23:00 Baku time.
