US President Donald Trump has approved a major ten-billion-dollar civil nuclear energy deal with Saudi Arabia.
Modern.az reports that "The Wall Street Journal" published information about this.
The agreement will allow US companies to participate in the construction of nuclear facilities in the kingdom and, in the future, to access the construction of a uranium enrichment plant. The document is expected to be signed this week and then submitted to the US Congress for approval.
Unlike the Biden administration, Trump did not demand that Saudi Arabia normalize relations with Israel in advance.
