According to the information, a Boeing 737-500 belonging to UTair airline gave an emergency signal a few minutes after taking off from Tyumen's Roshchino airport due to smoke sensors being triggered in the cabin.
At that time, flight attendants in the kitchen at the rear of the plane started preparing coffee. According to preliminary information, the smell from the coffee machine's fuse caused this.
The pilots initially tried to land the plane in Chelyabinsk but were unsuccessful. As a result, the plane made an emergency landing in Ufa. After some time, it continued its flight to Baku. There were 92 passengers on board the plane.
It should be noted that the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office confirmed the incident as an emergency landing due to technical reasons.
