Hungary expels 10 Russian diplomats from the country
Modern.az reports that this information was provided by the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Orban.
It was stated that the decision to expel the diplomats was made against the backdrop of relations between the two countries. Recently, tensions have increased in Europe around Russia's activities, security issues, and diplomatic relations.
Hungary's new foreign policy leadership has taken a number of diplomatic steps regarding relations with Russia in recent days. Earlier, Hungary's ambassador to Moscow, Konkoly Norbert, was recalled to the country, and a new ambassador has not yet been appointed in his place. The Russian side stated that this decision was due to political reasons.
It should be noted that Anita Orban will lead the position of Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister in 2026.
