As a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on tanker and cargo ships off the Black Sea coast of Russia's Krasnodar region, 5 people have died and 6 more have been injured.
Modern.az reports, citing a source, that "Izvestiya" published this information.
According to the information, drones targeted a tanker and two dry cargo ships in the Taganrog Bay. The attack is reported to have occurred around 05:00 local time.
The publication did not provide further details about the incident or the identities of the victims.
It should be noted that there were 12 crew members on the dry cargo ship "Natra" and 14 crew members on the dry cargo ship "Zirkon" that were hit. All of them are reported to be citizens of Azerbaijan. Both ships sail under foreign flags and do not belong to the Azerbaijani state.
