On November 8, a military parade dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the victory in the Patriotic War will be organized in Baku - at Azadlig Square.
Preparations for the military parade dedicated to Victory Day are nearing completion. Within the framework of preparatory measures, parade drills of the Azerbaijani Army, as well as training flights of the Air Force, have been carried out in Azadlig Square and surrounding areas.
It should be recalled that the last parad in Azadlig Square was held on December 10, 2020, in honor of the Victory in the Patriotic War.
On November 8, 2023, the Victory parade was organized in Khankendi city.
So, who will be the host of this year's Victory parade?
The question addressed by Modern.az website to the relevant authorities regarding this matter has so far remained unanswered.
Can Honored Art Worker, Presidential individual pensioner, Colonel Abdulla Gurbani, who has been behind the microphone at state ceremonies for many years, host the military parade on November 8?
Modern.az website contacted Abdulla Gurbani. The 69-year-old colonel informed our employee that he would not host this parade due to his health. He stated that he did not have information about who would be the host of the parade.
It should be noted that Colonel Abdulla Gurbani also hosted the military parade organized in Khankendi city on November 8, 2023, on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the Victory.
Abdulla Gurbani was also the host of the parade held in Azadlig Square on December 10, 2020.
