Children in US schools will be given healthier foods – donuts are being removed from the menu
Modern.az reports that US Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy stated this in an interview with "Fox News". The American minister said that serious changes will be made to school meals.
According to him, the US government currently pays for 30 million school lunches and 15 million school breakfasts every day. Among the most popular products in school meals are "Pop-Tarts" sweets, various pastries and donuts.
Kennedy noted that these products will now be removed from the menu and instead, children will be offered more natural and nutritious meals: "Now we are changing this and removing those products from the menu. We will give children hot meals."
