Foreign leaders congratulate Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on May 26 - Independence Day.
Modern.az reports with reference to Georgian media that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the high-level strategic partnership between Baku and Tbilisi in his congratulatory message. The head of state noted that relations are based on centuries-old traditions of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness. Ilham Aliyev recalled his state visit to Georgia in April and expressed his confidence that the agreements reached will contribute to the expansion of bilateral relations and the strengthening of the economic potential of the region.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also wished peace and prosperity to the Georgian people, emphasizing the importance of further deepening the strategic partnership between Ankara and Tbilisi.
In his letter to his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that relations between Tbilisi and Yerevan have already acquired the character of an institutional strategic partnership. Pashinyan thanked Georgia for the development of regional cooperation.
