In Georgia, two minors have been found guilty in the high-profile case that led to the death of 27-year-old teacher Gigi Avaliani.
Modern.az reports, citing local media, that the Tbilisi City Court found Demetre Chikovani guilty of preparing the crime, and Anna Naskidshvili guilty of failing to report the crime.
The duration of the sentences will be announced on June 2. According to the law, their sentences will be reduced by one-fourth.
Previously, three other minors were also found guilty in this case. By the decision of Judge Romeo Tkeshelashvili, Aleksandr Gabashvili and Giorgi Rikache were sentenced to 14 years, and Demetre Chikovani to 9 years of imprisonment.
