The Russian government has imposed a temporary ban on aviation fuel (kerosene) exports until November 30 this year.

Official Moscow made this decision to prevent foreign pressure on Russia's oil and gas infrastructure and possible shortages in the domestic market. Russia exports jet engine fuel mainly by rail to Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
The government's official statement says that the main purpose of this decision is to ensure stability in the domestic fuel market.
