On July 31, a five-star “Baku Resort & Spa” hotel was opened on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan.
Modern.az reports that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov and First Lady Aygul Japarova, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and First Lady Ziroatxon Mirziyoyeva, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the event.
Ramin Guluzade, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, informed the heads of state and first ladies about the hotel built in the village of Kara-Oy, Issyk-Kul region.
It was stated that “Baku Resort & Spa” was built within the framework of the agreement signed in Bishkek in 2023 “On investment in the construction of a five-star hotel on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic”.
Covering a total area of more than 17 hectares, the hotel is designed as a unique place where architecture, culture, art, gastronomy, health and recreation harmoniously come together.
The complex has 111 rooms and 10 cottages, allowing for the reception of 330 guests.
In the initial stage, the hotel is expected to provide employment for 255 people, some of whom are citizens of Azerbaijan.
Health and recreation are among the main directions of the hotel's concept. Indoor and outdoor pools, an aquapark and a beach, designed for year-round recreation, will also be available to guests.
Gastronomy is an integral part of the hotel's operations. The richness of Azerbaijani culinary traditions will be showcased here. Various restaurants in the hotel will offer dishes from our national cuisine, including traditional Azerbaijani breakfasts.
To create interesting leisure opportunities for guests of all age groups, the resort is equipped with extensive entertainment infrastructure, including a bowling and other entertainment games zone, a cinema hall, and a multifunctional outdoor sports ground designed for various sports.
The hotel has modern facilities for organizing international conferences, corporate meetings, business and social events.
Elements reflecting the beauty of Baku and the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan offer guests a harmony of national traditions and modernity.
