Russian President Vladimir Putin voted in the State Duma elections.
Modern.az reports that the Russian leader participated in the voting remotely, from his office in the Kremlin. Putin filled out the electronic ballot via computer.
In images released by the Kremlin, Putin says, "It's impossible to make a mistake" during the voting. After a few clicks, the notification "Thank you, you have successfully voted" appears on the screen. The Russian President then said, "Thank you."
It should be noted that Putin first used the electronic voting method in the State Duma elections in 2021. This is his sixth time voting remotely.
Elections for the IX convocation of the State Duma in Russia will continue from September 18 to 20. 450 deputy mandates will be determined in the elections: 225 of them are elected from party lists, and 225 from single-mandate constituencies.
