US President Donald Trump touched upon the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process during his speech at the high-level general debates of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
Modern.az reports that Trump also mentioned the long-standing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia among the conflicts he said he had resolved. He quoted Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
"The President of Azerbaijan stated that President Trump created a miracle in six months. This was a real miracle that no one thought possible," the US President said.
The US President added that almost all the countries involved in the conflicts he contributed to resolving sent him a thank you letter.
