Russian aviation dropped an aerial bomb on the territory of an ecopark located near Kharkiv.
Modern.az reports that, according to Ukrainian media, one woman was injured as a result of the strike, lions kept in the ecopark were wounded, and birds perished.
Additionally, shelters intended for predatory animals and birds were destroyed.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that over 200 attack drones were launched into Ukrainian territory on New Year's Eve. According to him, most of the drones were neutralized. The attacks covered the Volyn, Rivne, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions. It was noted that the target was Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Zelensky emphasized that rescuers are working in all necessary areas, and energy workers are engaged in restoring electricity supply after the strikes. Citing the fact that the attacks did not cease even on holidays, he stated that delays in the supply of air defense systems are unacceptable and called on allies to deliver agreed-upon support in a timely manner.
