A armed incident occurred in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, near the base where the England national football team will train during the World Cup.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that the incident was recorded on the morning of June 6 on Trost Avenue, approximately 10 minutes from the team's base.
As a result of the shooting, 9 people were injured. Three women among the injured were hospitalized.
The cause of the incident is not yet known. Police have not arrested any suspects in connection with the incident.
According to Reuters, the England national team has not yet arrived at the training base.
It should be noted that the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
