As a result of measures taken by police officers, Orkhan Huseynli, suspected of fraudulently seizing citizens' money under the guise of tourism activities, was detained.
Modern.az reports that investigations revealed that “Renaissance Travel” tourism company, led by O. Huseynli, offered attractive tour packages to foreign countries on its social media account.
He abused the trust of numerous citizens who applied for this purpose, giving false promises to organize tourist trips to foreign countries. O. Huseynli fraudulently seized various amounts of money from citizens by using fake flight tickets he illegally prepared.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the mentioned facts. O. Huseynli was brought to investigation as a suspect under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and a pre-trial detention measure was chosen against him by court decision. Currently, investigative measures on the criminal case are ongoing.
Information spread on social networks about the aforementioned tourism company belonging to public activist Ilkin Rustamzade was also thoroughly investigated. As a result of the investigations, these claims were not confirmed.
