Russia may further tighten restrictions on fish imports from Armenia.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Ilya Shestakov, head of the Russian Federal Agency for Fisheries.
According to him, Russia has already imposed restrictions on the supply of live fish from Armenia.
"If factors that could lead to veterinary risks are identified and these products affect the veterinary safety of our country, additional steps will undoubtedly be taken," Shestakov noted.
The Russian official emphasized that possible new measures will depend on the outcome of risks related to veterinary safety.
