Famous British television presenter and former “Top Gear” star Jeremy Clarkson has been diagnosed with cancer.
Modern.az reports that the presenter himself announced this in an episode of “Clarkson’s Farm”. He revealed the diagnosis to the program's regular participants, Caleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland.
The 66-year-old presenter stated that he has been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of cancer. However, the specific type of cancer has not been disclosed. Clarkson noted that a part of his prostate was removed as part of the treatment.
According to him, the disease was detected at an early stage and his condition is currently under control:
“I promise, everything will be fine,” he said.
It should be noted that Jeremy Clarkson was one of the main presenters of “Top Gear” from 2002 to 2015. He presented the program together with Richard Hammond and James May. After a scandal with the producer, Clarkson was removed from the project, and later his colleagues also left the show.
Since 2021, “Clarkson’s Farm” has been broadcast on the Amazon Prime Video platform. In the show, Clarkson shares his life on the farm in Oxfordshire, which he bought in 2008, with viewers.
