Patrik Bekaryan, an Armenian-born soldier serving in the Lebanese army, died as a result of an Israeli attack.
Modern.az reports that the Lebanese Ministry of Defense confirmed the death of Armenian-born soldier Patrik Bekaryan.
According to the information, the 23-year-old soldier was considered missing since April 19 of this year. The ministry's statement said that Patrik Bekaryan died as a result of Israeli soldiers opening fire on his car.
It was noted that the soldier's p was kept by the Israeli side. The p was handed over to Lebanon only on July 15 through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Thus, the p of the Armenian-born soldier was returned to his family approximately three months after his death.
