Israel claims that Iran has moved the main part of its uranium enrichment program to secret tunnels located under a mountain.
Modern.az reports that, according to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Israeli intelligence believes that Tehran has moved thousands of uranium enrichment centrifuges to tunnels under "Piksu" mountain near the Natanz nuclear complex after last year's military confrontation.
According to the information, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on US President Donald Trump to launch a military strike on the facility.
Trump, in turn, stated that the "Piksu" facility could be one of the possible military targets for the US.
It is noted that "Piksu" mountain is located near the Natanz nuclear complex and is considered one of Iran's best-protected nuclear facilities due to the tunnels built under a deep rock layer.
According to experts, it is extremely difficult to destroy such facilities with conventional aviation bombs. For this reason, the complex has long been a special focus in the military plans of both Israel and the US.
Official Tehran has not yet commented on these claims.
