There has been a sharp increase in the number of people moving from Russia to Armenia again, and this has already approached the level of 2022.
Modern.az reports that “Verstka” publication spread information about this, citing real estate agents in Armenia.
According to realtors, apartment rental prices in Yerevan have increased by approximately 30% in the last few months. They attribute this to the new influx of Russian migrants coming to Armenia.
According to the source, in recent years, most of their clients were Russian immigrants already living in Yerevan. Currently, approximately 80% of clients are Russian citizens who have recently arrived in Armenia or plan to move soon.
Realtors state that the new wave of demand began after the May holidays and is gradually strengthening. Some clients are already looking for apartments for late August and September.
One of “Verstka”'s interlocutors claims that some of those leaving Russia are trying to leave the country before the State Duma elections, which will be held on September 18–20.
