Modern.az reports that Fada-Hussein Maleki, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, stated this.
According to him, Iran first sent an ultimatum to Kyiv through diplomatic channels regarding the issue.
"We responded through diplomatic channels, issued an ultimatum, but a military response will be inevitable," Maleki emphasized.
It should be noted that Iranian officials had previously accused Ukraine of the incident in the Caspian Sea and stated that it would not go unpunished. This statement is considered one of the harshest statements Tehran has made on the issue to date.
